Thank you, Krista, for hosting me today! It's so fun to be stop here on my blog tour this week.

What
inspired you to write the Rodeo Romance Series?
 I’ve
always loved rodeos. After my husband and I attended the Wrangler National
Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, I knew I had to write a series about the sport. It’s
a bonus I’m able to tie in something I enjoy so much into a wonderful cause
like the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund.

 What's
the series about?
 Hope.
Redemption. Love. It’s about never giving up, building inner strength, and
giving love a chance. Of course, there are hunky cowboy and feisty women, but
it’s much more than that. Due to the wound from her past, Kenzie is afraid to
trust anyone, particularly a cowboy, with her heart.  Kaley’s never been the most important person
to anyone, except her son. The process of opening her heart to love is new
experience for her. Celia is incredibly stubborn and independent. It’s hard for
her to accept the idea of falling in love. Despite their flaws, they all hold
hope close to their hearts as they learn about love.

 What
made you decide to make this as a holiday series?
A large part of
that decision came from our fun experiences at the NFR and being in Las Vegas
in December. It’s a great way to get into the holiday spirit. I incorporate a
lot of the elements we’ve enjoyed into the story.

 Tell
us a little about you’re the men in these stories.

 Tate
Morgan is a talented saddle bronc rider determined to be the next world
champion in The Christmas Cowboy. The attraction he
feels for Kenzie Beckett the first time he sees her at the airport catches him
by surprise. Although he tries to ignore his interest in the beautiful woman,
he flirts with her every chance he gets and finally asks her out when they end
up in the same town on weekend.

Christmas
is about Cort McGraw. The steer wrestler is Tate’s best
friend and one of my favorite characters (Shhh! Don’t tell the others!) When
the story begins, Cort is trying to deal with the reality that he’s sustained a
career-ending injury and will never compete in rodeo again. Thanks to the
efforts of his sister, Celia, and Tate, Cort ends up on a run-down ranch with a
wounded widow and her silent son. As he helps bring the ranch back from the
brink of derelict status, he discovers a new purpose for his life in loving
Kaley and Jacob.

Life is hectic on a good day for rodeo
stock contractor Kash Kressley in Capturing Christmas. Between dodging
flying hooves and babying cranky bulls, he barely has time to sleep. The last
thing Kash needs is the entanglement of a sweet romance, especially with a
woman as full of fire and sass as Celia McGraw.

 Where
do you get the inspiration to write?
 My
inspiration for sitting down every day and writing comes from the fact that I
love doing it and there is nothing else I’d rather be doing. I left my day job two
years ago to write full time, so this truly is my chosen career and source of
employment.

 Is
there anything else you’d like to share with my readers?
 Thank you
for hosting me today. I’m so grateful for this wonderful opportunity to connect
with your readers. I hope those who enjoy historical fiction, sweet romances, or
a good western, will consider reading my
books.

New Releases
To kick off the second annual Cowboys and Christmas Blog Tour and the JCCF campaign,
two brand new holiday romances will release Nov. 12!

Capturing Christmas
Cover Capturing Christmas is the third installment in the sweet holiday western Rodeo Romance series.

Life is hectic on a good day for rodeo stock contractor Kash Kressley. Between dodging flying hooves and babying cranky bulls, he barely has time to sleep. The last thing Kash needs is the entanglement of a sweet romance, especially with a woman as full of fire and sass as the redheaded photographer he rescues at a rodeo.

Determined to capture the best images possible, rodeo photographer Celia McGraw is fearless and feisty. Not one to back down from a challenge, her biggest risk isn’t in her work. Danger lurks in the way her heart responds to one incredibly handsome stock contractor. Will Kash and Celia capture the spirit of the season?

Review and Giveaway: "Distant Signs" by Anne Richter

Synopsis: Distant Signs is an intimate portrait of two families spanning three generations amidst turbulent political change, behind and beyond the Berlin Wall. In 1960s East Germany, Margret, a professor’s daughter from the city, meets and marries Hans, from a small village in Thuringia. The couple struggle to contend with their different backgrounds, and the emotional scars they bear from childhood in the aftermath of war. As East German history gradually unravels, with collision of the personal and political, their two families’ hidden truths are quietly revealed. An exquisitely written novel with strongly etched characters that stay with you long after the book is finished and an authentic portrayal of family life behind the iron curtain based on personal experience of the author who is East German and was 16 years old at the fall of the Berlin Wall. Why do families repeat destructive patterns of behaviour across generations? Should the personal take precedence over

Top Ten Books I Recommend The Most

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish . This week's topic:  Top Ten Books I Recommend the Most 1.) The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons   2.) Outlander by Diana Gabaldon           If you read my blog at all, you know I love these two books so much!  I am not afraid to suggest them to anyone who I think might enjoy them. 3.) The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - I was definitely recommending this book left and right when the first movie came out. 4.) The Fault in Our Stars by John Green 5.) A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin           These are two books that I just recently started recommending but they are books that can appeal to anyone so they are easy picks when someone asks for a recommendation. 6.) Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead  - I get a little embarrassed when I recommend this book to people but seriously, just because it has vampires does not mean it is like Twilight. 7.) The Giver by Lois

This week's question is:  "Highlight one book you have received this week that you can't wait to dig into!" Okay, I have a confession to make.  I have been so busy this week that I have not had time to get any new books.  I have several waiting for me at the library but I won't be able to pick them up until this weekend.  : ( Did you all get any exciting new books this week?
