Happy Friday! (21)

Whew!  I am so glad it's Friday!  This week has been crazy (I turned 29 on Monday!)  and there is so much going on this weekend.  I am actually ready for it to be next Friday when all of the craziness will have died down.


Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee's View.

This week's question:   Define what characteristics your favorite books share. Do they all have a kickass heroine or is the hot love interest the Alpha Male?

I read such a wide variety of books that it is hard to see which characteristics they have in common.  I do know that my most favorite books tend to have amazing well-written stories that suck me into them and make me never want to leave.  I love being so completely immersed in a story that it feels like you literally have to pull yourself out of the book and back into the real world.   Books like The Hunger Games, Outlander, Vampire Academy and The Bronze Horseman had such complex, wonderful storylines with fantastic characters that I felt like I became part of that particular book's setting while I was reading them.

    I also love to just get lost in abook and never want it to end. *-* The Hunger Games series always makes me feeel like that.

    Isn't it just amazing what a book can do? Make you forget about your own life, you own era, your own surroundings? I live for books that transport me into different worlds, where paranormal things are just the norm.

    Books that suck you into the story and never let go always leave an impression on me. If an author can make me want to be a part of the story, moreso than reality, then its love for me.

    I agree, I think that the storyline is probably the most important factor of a book! I also read a wide range of books so it was hard for me to find similar characteristics between all of the characters.

    I love books like that too. Who doesn't?! Books that can draw you right into their world are awesome. It makes it hard to come to the ending. I'm a new follower. Have a great weekend!

Top Ten Books I Recommend The Most

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish . This week's topic:  Top Ten Books I Recommend the Most 1.) The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons   2.)
